What's the story here?
The Darlin' Reds is a brand-new farm project, dreamed up in the minds of a couple former Community CROPS staffers. Margaret and Erin were terming out, and weren't quite ready to be done veggie farming together. We'd both been helping out at Branched Oak Farm for a few months, and decided to get the full scoop on their progressive internship program.
Long story short, here we are, residents and interns of Branched Oak Farm! The farm is located on the edge of the Bohemian Alps, just north of Lincoln, Nebraska, and within walking distance of Branched Oak Lake. We live at "North Farm," next door to the Dittmans, owners and operators of BOF. All the interns here have their own farm enterprise, in addition to helping out at the dairy and creamery.
Get in touch if you have questions about anything, like joining our 2013 CSA! ...Or visiting the farm, petting the farm animals, or inviting yourself to supper. We would never turn down a hand weeder, nor would we refuse a cup of joe and a good joke!
